It was through the initiative of a few members that Uganda Hotel Owners
Association was born and formally registered in May 2000 as UHOA.
Founders of the association realized the need to bring Hotel owners in the
country to have common thread in fostering services offered from
accommodation to recreation facilities etc.
Vision
To be the best provider of hospitable services in the hospitality
industry.
Mission
To provide superb standard of accommodation, facilities and
services to both domestic and international tourists.
Objectives
When the association was formed, the members had many varied
objectives as follows:
Lobbying and advocacy
Information collection, analysis and dissemination.
To promote and protect the interest of hotel owners in Uganda.
To promote capacity building in the hotel staff.
Collaboration with donor agencies and government.
